Audition to perform with this premiere jazz choir Soundsation 2012 Audition Application— fourteen vocalists, piano, guitar, bass, drums and sound technician. Over the years, Soundsation graduates have gone on to become leaders in vocal jazz education and professional performance, including in groups such as the Four Freshmen, the Ritz, the Glenn Miller Orchestra and others.
- Study jazz singing and playing, including differing styles, improvisation/interpretation.
- Learn vocal technique and ensemble singing with microphones.
- Perform and tour as a member of a talented group of vocal stylists at high schools, colleges and universities and jazz festivals across the United States.
- Host the annual DeMiero Jazz Fest, where over 80 elementary, middle and high school jazz bands ad choirs gather to shre music learn.
- Get an opportunity to share the stage with some of the greatest names in jazz. Soundsation has performed recently with Jack Jones, Carol Sloane, Duffy Jackson, the Kevin Mahogany Quartet, Jon Hendricks and the Curtis Stigers Quartet.
- Soundsation records a CD each spring in our new, state- of-the-art recording studio
